The Effects of Aging on Episodic Memory-Dependent Decision Making

The purpose of this study is to Understand how people make decisions and how this is related to differences between people in brain structure and function.

Eligibility Requirements:

• 25 - 85 years old

• Right-handed

• Fluent English speaker

• No neurological disorders

• No ongoing psychoactive drug use

• No claustrophobia

What is involved in this study?

1. Complete a 30 minute phone screening to determine eligibility for participation

2. If eligible, schedule 3 visits:

   1. Behavioral (1.5 - 2 hours total)

   2. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (3 hours total)

   3. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (2 hours total)

3. Compensation is $20 per hour, for an expected total payment of $120 - $160 (payment given after all visits are complete)
